  5.    This is the modem initialization string I send to my modem:

  9.    You can leave the external switches set as they come from the
  10.    factory.  However, you will need to change some switches inside the
  11.    modem. With the 4-position dip switch should be set as follows:

  13.    Dip #1 - Down (CTS normal) this is different from the factory setting
  14.    Dip #2 - UP (factory default)
  15.    Dip #3 - Up (wait for dial tone dialing) different from default
  16.    Dip #4 - Down (factory Default)

  18.    You really need to read your manual, but this will get you up and
  19.    running with Qmodem 3.1a.  Be Sure to Set CTS checking in your
  20.    Qinstall program.
